About Mary Humphrey
I am a certified birth and postpartum doula. As a doula, I offer evidence-based education, encourage self-advocacy, and give constant emotional and physical support throughout labor and birth. Postpartum, I provide a listening ear, advice and references as needed, lactation support, and whole-household care.
I moved to Vermont from northern Virginia over a decade ago in pursuit of a simpler life, and I found it. I have loved raising my three sons with my husband Jesse in this beautiful state. We spend much of our time in the outdoors with family and friends.
When my boys were young, I felt called to be a doula. While I focused on parenting and homeschooling them, I kept that desire to support other families as a doula close to my heart. In 2017, I opened Full Circle Doula Services. I became a certified birth and postpartum doula through International Doula Institute and have now supported over 200 Vermont families during childbirth.
My passion is to come alongside expectant parents, to empower and equip them so they have confidence throughout the stages of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My hope is to ensure everyone is treated with dignity, and can look back on their birth experience with joy.
My Services
As a doula, I support families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My service packages are flexible so that you can receive the exact level of support that works best for your family, whether that is by engaging me as a birth doula only, postpartum daytime or overnight doula only, or a combination. I also offer support for families transitioning through foster care and adoption, as well as sibling care for those in labor.
